As much as we love catering to your fashion and lifestyle needs, we want to do our part in being Planet Positive by using our platform to help address clothing waste and promote a more circular fashion. In our efforts in making the fashion ecosystem more sustainable, we have teamed up with Life Line Clothing, a local textile collector. They have a zero waste policy; even the bags you drop your clothes with will be sent for recycling!
Give your once loved items a second chance so that someone else can love and wear them, or they can be repurposed into something useful. By donating your pre-loved items, you will contribute to diverting waste from landfills and reducing resource consumption via reuse or recycling. Do good and take part in being Planet Positive!
Reminder : Remember to fill in the form via the above QR code or via the link here .
Who is Life Line Clothing?
Life Line Clothing is a Malaysia-based zero waste textile collector with a comprehensive network of communities, corporations and local governments that aim to reduce fabric waste pollution and divert textiles away from landfill.
How does donating reduce my impact on the environment?
Every year, 70% of items that we wear can be recycled or reused, end up in landfills. By donating even a small amount of items, you are helping in reducing your carbon footprint and contributing largely to sustainable consumption and circular fashion.
What kind of items should I drop?
Life Line Clothing accepts clothes, shoes, bags and other fabric items.
Where do my used items go?
Once the collection bin is full, the items will be sent to Life Line Clothing facility and sorted into 500 different categories. Items in good condition will be resold, while those in bad condition will either be refurbished, upcycled, recycled, or even reprocessed into fuels.
Other than my positive impact on the environment, what else do I get from donating?
Thank you for your contribution! As a token of appreciation, you will be entitled to a small amount of cashback which can be used to purchase items on ZALORA. Be sure to read the T&Cs here.
What is the amount of cashback being offered?
Every drop off of unwanted items will be entitled a RM20 cashback. Please note that the cashback can only be redeemed once a month, and the cashback expires in 1 month from the date in your account.
What can I spend my cashback on?
The choice is yours to use the cashback on any item for your next purchase on the ZALORA platform, but we would encourage you to use it on items tagged with Earth Edit to continue the circularity of your purchase!
