In this episode , Yoo Mi Ji (play by Park Bo Young) recite these sentences like reciting a mantra before step out from her bedroom. Her grandmother delivered these sentences once upon a time when she faced darkest times of her life after having severe injuries which force her to retire from running. These magical world pulled Mi Ji from the darkness back into the light, as an encouragement to face the present after a painful past. This quote teach the viewers the importance of being in present and it gently reminds us that the present moment is all we truly have.

As we learn from episode 5, Mi Ji and Mi Rae’s grandmother is bedridden almost 10 years in the hospital, and now her grandmother’s condition start to worsen. Ok Hui stress out after she receives a call from the caregiver informing her that Mi-Ji needs to visit her right away because her mother has stopped eating while she is in the hospital. However, when Ok Hui arrives, she feels surprised to see Ho-Su’s mother feeding her own mother. Ho-Su’s mother tells Ok Hui that she can only change her mother by truly showing her what it means to be loved. She regrets not being able to show her mother true love, but she believes Ok-Hui still has a chance.

Later in Episode 7, Han Se Jin (Ryu Kyung Soo) and Yoo Mi Rae (Mi Ji’s twin) had conversation at the strawberry farm of Duson-ri as Mi Rae share her thoughts on quitting her job after experience workplace harrasment. Se Jin who had experienced his own regrets after losing a loved one, supported Yoo Mi Rae’s decision. Instead of suffering over attempting to preserve everything she had created, he gave her the confidence to make choices that were even marginally for herself. Viewers were deeply impacted by Han Se Jin’s realistic and reassuring remarks, which suggest that simply enduring isn’t everything.

In episode 11, Ho Su and Mi Ji having a breakup moment. Ho Su is struggling with his sudden hearing loss which makes him push Mi Ji away. Mi Ji insist to stay besides Ho Su but when they confront each other, she actually sees her past self in Ho Su which makes her let Ho Su walk away. later, Ho-Su’s mom explains that love is about losing and coming back hundreds of times, not winning. In the meantime, Mi-Ji visits Sang-Wol and helps her read documents with Ho-Su’s name on them, which makes her sad. Sang-Wol encourages her to knock on people’s doors, as just being there for him is enough. Mi-Ji finally prepares to go see Ho-Su, but when she opens his apartment door, he’s there, wraps her in a hug, and apologizes.
“Things might seem scary, but once you dive in, they’re not all that”


Towards the ending, finally Mi Ji found what to pursue in her life. In Episode 12, Mi Ji tells Mi Rae about her plan to further her unfinished study and want to attend college like Mi Rae. She tells Mi Rae that she wants to at least try to do something even though she quite scared if things not working out in her way. But after mi Ji had replaced Mi Rae’s place in her workplace for awhile, she realise thing are not that difficult. Talking from her past experiences, Mi Rae tells Mi Ji that it is the reality of the world which you might find it scary but you will never know until you face it.
